  • 2:00 pm: The Cheltenham Festival gets underway with a roar as the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle is run over 2 miles and a 1/2 furlong.
  • 2:35 pm: The Arkle Challenge Trophy is run over 2 miles.
  • 3:15 pm: The Champion Hurdle is run over 2 miles 110 yards.
  • 4:00 pm: The National Hunt Handicap is run over 3 miles 5 furlongs.
  • 4:40 pm: The Cross Country Chase is run over the cross country course.
  • 5:20 pm: The Novices Handicap is run over 2 miles and a half furlong.

Cheltenham Festival Card 2008 – Wednesday March 12

  • 2:00 pm: The Novices Hurdle is the first race of day two and run over 2 miles and 5 furlongs.
  • 2:35 pm: The Novices Steeplechase is run over 3 miles and ½ a furlong.
  • 3:15 pm: The Queen Mother Champion Chase is run over 2 miles.
  • 4:00 pm: The Handicap Hurdle is run over 2 miles and 5 furlongs.
  • 4:40 pm: The Handicap Steeplechase is run over 3 miles and a ½ furlong.
  • 5:20 pm: The Champion Bumper closes off the days racing with a flat race run over 2 miles and half a furlong.

Cheltenham Festival Card 2008 - Thursday March 13

  • 2:00 pm: Day 3 starts off with the Novices’ Handicap run over 2 miles and 5 furlongs.
  • 2:35 pm: The Festival Trophy Steeplechase is run over 2 miles and 5 furlongs.
  • 3:15 pm: The World Hurdle is a stayers’ race run over 3 miles.
  • 4:00 pm: The Racing Post Plate handicap chase is run over 2 miles and 5 furlongs.
  • 4:40 pm: The National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup is run over 4 miles and 1 furlong.
  • 5:20 pm: The Handicap Hurdle ends the day with a 3-mile race for stayers.
