2009 Cheltenham Festival: Day Three Preview

It's Ladies Day at the 2009 Cheltenham Festival, as tens of thousands of racing fans gather at Prestbury Park to enjoy the carnival atmosphere and witness the biggest national hunt race of the year.

The 2009 Cheltenham Gold Cup steals the limelight today, as Denman prepares to defend his crown from 2007 champion Kauto Star. Waiting in the wings are the likes of Madison du Berlais and Neptune Collonges, both of whom could pull off a big upset in today's feature race.

There's also a great hurdles race on the card today, with the JCB Triumph Hurdle getting the action at Cheltenham underway today. Walkon, Zaynar and Master of Arts are expected to be involved in an almighty scrap for the Festival's most popular handicap hurdle race.

There are another five great races on the card for the final day of the 2009 Cheltenham Festival and William Hill is offering punters the opportunity to benefit from enhanced odds if they place their bets between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

William Hill is also offering a free bet special for the Jimmy Henderson Grand Annual Chase. All punters who stake £10 or more on the race will earn a free £5 bet for use in the scorecast betting markets for this weekends Premiership match between Manchester United and Liverpool.
